Installation of MagikFortune is
simple. Simply run the MagikFortune setup file and follow the simple
installation instructions.
During the installation process you will
be asked whether you would like to “Run on Startup”. We
recommend that you do so. Running MagikFortune on startup is not the
same as receiving a fortune on startup. That is a configuration
option that we will get to later. MagikFortune can be as noisy or
quiet as you like upon startup but once running your fortunes are now
always easily accessible.
In addition, during the installation process you
must agree and accept installation of each component that is
distributed with MagikFortune for the application to function
properly.
NOTE: Please
ensure that you have downloaded and installed all the necessary prerequisite software
before attempting to install MagikFortune itself!
